Violin Lessons Frankston
The Violin is a string instrument, usually with four strings tuned in perfect fifths. It is the smallest and highest-pitched member of the violin family of string instruments, which also includes the viola and cello, and occasionally the double bass. The violin is sometimes informally called a fiddle, regardless of the type of music played on it. The word violin comes from the Middle Latin word , meaning stringed instruments this word is also believed to be the source of the Germanic The violin, while it has ancient origins, acquired most of its modern characteristics in 16th-century Italy, with some further modifications occurring in the 18th century. Violinists and collectors particularly prize the instruments made by the Stradivari , Guarneri and Amati families from the 16th to the 17th century in Brescia and Cremona and by Jacob Stainer in Austria.

Nico At 6 years old, I began playing the violin, 10 years have passed, and I have not put it down. The past decade of weekly lessons and practicing has developed my great passion for the instrument and classical music. For 6 years, I participated in the Peninsula Youth Music Society, doing regular performances with the string orchestra as well as collaborations with the Frankston Symphony Orchestra. In my first year of high school, I received Dux of Music for my year level and am still heavily involved in their music program as the String Orchestra Captain. I have completed Certificate I and II in Creative Industries and will continue further studies for violin in VCE and possibly tertiary education. For the past 3 years I have been playing guitar and have explored areas of pop, rock, acoustic and punk at home and in private lessons. I have recently begun combining my violin skills with guitar, singing and piano to create my own style and sound. Music is a highlight of my life and I hope to give as many people as possible the opportunity to be a part of it. |
