Singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, and augments regular speech by the use of both tonality and rhythm A person who sings is called a singer or vocalist. Singers perform music known as songs that can either be sung a cappella(without accompaniment) or accompanied by musicians and instruments ranging from a single instrumentalist to a full symphony orchestra or big band. Singing is often done in a group of other musicians, such as in a choir of singers with different voice ranges, or in an ensemble with instrumentalists, such as a rock group or baroque ensemble.

Shana Hi my name is Shana. I teach singing, guitar and ukulele. I have a diploma in Music performance from Collarts, and in my final year of my Bachelor of creative arts degree majoring in Music and Media. As a performer myself, I am constantly playing shows at pubs, restaurants and private events. I coach a range of different voices, assisting with gaining confidence and the ability to perform well, extending vocal range and improving vocal tone. I also love helping my students to write songs if they wish to do so. I work mostly with children when teaching guitar and ukulele. I commit to being patient with your child so they can get the best results and start playing!
