Belly: 1 piece medium to broad grained pine.
Back: 1 piece of maple, lightly figured with some birdseye n the lower bout.
Sides: highly figured irregular maple - 6 matched pieces.
Scroll and pegbox: similar figure to back, spliced to a more modern neck of light figure.
The violin is notably asymmetrical in construction and somewhat distorted in relation to the alignment of upper and lower bout.
Condition: very good for its age.
