Vox Ice 9 Overdrive

The Vox Ice 9 Overdrive is another brilliant collaboration between Joe Satriani and one of England’s premier amp makers.  The Ice 9 Overdrive is currently being used by Satch for his work in Chickenfoot as well as his solo work, and with that endorsement, you know this is a brilliant sounding overdrive.  The Ice 9 has two modes.  In the vintage mode, the Ice 9 utilizes a special op-amp and premium diodes to capture the sounds of vintage overdrive pedals -  smooth, sustaining, rich and warm.  The modern switch engages a germanium diode for an aggressive overdrive that will command attention.  If you’re needing more, just engage the More switch, and immediately get 14 db of boost, which is perfect for soloing.  This incredibly versatile overdrive pedal was crafted in partnership with the man himself, so you know that the tone and response are completely rich and resonant. 

This is a used pedal and may show some signs of wear, but is fully functional.
